I’m Jill, I’m 56 and I’m a West Country gal. I’m also recovering from 2 total knee replacement surgeries within the past 10 months! I love swimming but have never taken on a challenge like this before. I am 100% determined to seize this fab opportunity to prove to myself that This Girl Can do anything she sets her mind to.

Hi Jill, inspired by your story and determination. Can I ask which wetsuit you have gone for, and whether your recent knee replacement surgery played a factor. I have just has a total hip replacement and need a new challenge, so any advice would be gratefully received. Best of luck! Phil
Hi Phil, thanks so much. I haven’t yet settled on a wetsuit but I shall update you when I do. I’ve never swum in one previously so I may yet decide to swim in skins – aka a swimsuit! All the best for your hip surgery recovery. Jill
