So here am I sporting my new dryrobe.  And very lovely and warm it was too, perfect for that post-swim chat and the walk back to campsite showers.  We had a quick 15 minute swim in the river at Hurley, which, after a rainy 36 hours, was bathed in sunshine.  It was serene. 

We started by swimming upstream, which was very slow going, then we changed direction and returned very speedily back downstream.   A couple of swans were blocking our exit, hissing viciously at a small dog, but once the dog continued his walk the swans swam away, and we were free to get out.

All the while an elegant heron sat the far bank of the river observing the comings and goings.  The perfect river swim.
