Hi, I’m Sian, mum to 2 sleep thieves and coming out of the fog of early parenthood. I’m at a stage where I feel in need of taking on something to challenge my mind and body in a healthy way, so when I saw this opportunity to take part at the Henley Swim Festival I decided to jump at it.
Outdoor swimming isn’t something that ever appealed to me before. However, I love being outdoors and I used to love swimming as a child, so have decided that combining the two can’t be such a bad idea!

At this point, I’m an even mix of excited and terrified, so I’m looking forward to what the next few weeks bring and to sharing all the ups, downs, splutters and splashes with you.
