So I was on duty this day and I received a call from Becky, I thought she was trying to sell me something so I was a bit short. She informed me that I had been selected to be one of the Six of The Girl Can.

My heart raced, i was so excited. When I applied, I never imagined I would be chosen and kept saying to her are you sure I can’t believe it. I was shaking with excitement, my work friends at this stage wondered what was going on as I had not told them I had applied and when I told them they were thrilled for me. When I got home I told my family who were also very excited and proud. And I decided to start making a plan and how I was going to prepare.
