I am a 21 year old University student about to graduate in a couple of months. With few plans for my future at the moment, Now, with it being a time of massive change in my life, I am relieved to have been given this opportunity as it provides me with something to aim towards within this transition period. I have always loved swimming, I feel this is the perfect opportunity for me to switch out the repetitive laps of a swimming pool for the big open water. I have never done open water swimming before. I do the odd dip in the sea and splash around in the summer but no proper swimming with goggles, cap and everything. Nervous to take on the colder waters and come across anything wiggling around my legs.Looking forward to this new adventure whilst also hopefully inspiring other women to join me!
